Well another holiday is upon us, Easter has arrived. How is that possible! January felt like 5 years while February and March have felt like 5 days. Maybe it’s all the wedding planning and seeing Masen grow so much in the past couple months. Either way this momma needs a quick and easy treat for Easter dinner Sunday with the in-laws. That is where these easy cereal treats come into play only 4 ingredients, 3 if you want to make it really simple!
What You’ll Need
- 6 cups of cereal – almost any kind will work, I used coco puffs because I had a couple boxes to use up!
- 3 tablespoons of Butter
- 4 cups of mini marshmallows (OR a bag of large)
- M& M candies (optional) I used Easter colored but you can mix up the colors to fit the current holiday!
- Pot – of decent size
- Greased cake pan
Start with melting your butter over low to medium heat.
Once butter has started melting stir in marshmallows.
Continue stirring until marshmallows have melted.
Remove from heat and stir in cereal until coated well.
Press into greased cake pan.
If using M&M candies top while marshmallows are still warm.
Let cool and then cut into squares or if you have an individual brownie pan those work great too!
Tah-dah a simple, quick and easy treat everyone will love! I love that it can just change the candy color to fit the holiday. Makes for a great go to dish to bring when I’m short on time!
